Currently working as an application engineer in laser metrology, for the manufacturer of the GapGun, a non-contact measurement device. I develop new measurement applications for customers in the aerospace, automotive, and wind industries, whilst providing onsite product demonstrations, installation, training, and support.

While studying for my masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, I took units on robotics, manufacturing, and biomechanics. My final year project was the design and simulation of a dental implant testbed.

I spent a year studying engineering at École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Aix-en-Provence, where I also completed a short research project in the MSMP materials science laboratory. Since the studies and placement was entirely in French language, I gained a fluent level of French, including relevant engineering vocabulary, which I maintain to this day as I work closely with French clients and distributors.
